Dalby Conquer the Forest Half Marathon & 10k

This will probably be the best off-road race

All routes take you on some of the best tracks and trails the mighty  Dalby Forest has to offer, most of them only used for our event.  Undulating doesn't fully describe the routes. Whether you are a seasoned  off-road trail runner or this is your first, you will love it.

The route will be well marked, but don"t expect us to hold your hand with marker tape every 50 yards. Look down to check for ground conditions, look up to see the next marker. It may be 100 meters it may be half a mile.

Off road trail shoes or full knobbies are HIGHLY recommended.

The course will take you away from the start onto fire roads, single track paths, logging roads, fire breaks, narrow tree breaks and through some of the best and most secluded areas Dalby Forest has to offer. Some of the route has not been walked/run on since last years event.

This is Pure Trail!

There will be flatish undulating breaks on the route and the plus to climbing hills is that every up hill has a down hill! Always appreciated!!

For insurance purposes the minimum age for this event is 16 years old on the day to enter the half marathon or 10k.

Registration opens at 8:45am

Half marathon starts at 10:15am

10k starts at 10:30am

Entry prices

Half marathon £25 for age 16+ (includes technical T-shirt)

10km £23.50 for age 16+ (includes technical T-shirt)   

An administration fee of 6% per entry will be applied to each order by our online entry system partner, Mad Bull Events

Entry limit for the event is 1000.

The race HQ is in Adderstone Fields (not the Visitor Centre), approx  3.5 miles past Go Ape on Forest Drive, Near Pickering, North Yorkshire.

There will be no refunds for this event.

There will be no Transfers to another runner within 14 days of the event.
